With a washable or Expo marker, draw a funny face on a family photo or a photo of your child. Place the elf above the picture frame with the marker in his hands. Your children will be shocked when they see this idea!

After all these practical jokes and mayhem this Elf on the Shelf has caused this family, it is no wonder that the police caught up to him. Did he really think he could get away with it all and not get punished? I don't think so - our police department in my son's room handcuffed him and took him to the big house. My oldest son who is obsessed with policemen will love this idea!
